Microsoft offering Windows 8 Pro Upgrade just for $14.99 to new Windows 7 PC buyers

There is great news coming from Microsoft for its customers. Microsoft is offering for a limited time, customers who purchase a Windows 7 PC can upgrade to Windows 8 Pro when it launches for only $14.99. The offer has recently announced on Microsoft Store official Facebook page.

Though the offer has been announced earlier but Microsoft confirmed it earlier today only.

Windows 8 Offer

If you bought a PC pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional, or Ultimate on or after June 2, 2012, just go to windowsupgradeoffer.com and register. When Windows 8 Pro is available, you’ll get an email with your promotion code and purchase instructions.

You can then download and install Windows 8 Pro on a compatible PC with Windows Upgrade Assistant.

Here is how to avail the offer:

  1. Buy a Windows 7 PC between June 2, 2012 and January 31, 2013. (Use our PC Selector to help you choose.)
  2. Register to upgrade to Windows 8 at windowsupgradeoffer.com before February 28, 2013.
  3. When Windows 8 Pro is available, you’ll get an email with your promotion code and purchase instructions.
  4. Download and install Windows 8 Pro on a compatible Windows-based PC with Windows Upgrade Assistant.

You must purchase a qualified Windows 7 PC between June 2, 2012 and January 31, 2013 to be eligible for this offer. The last day to register and order your Windows 8 upgrade is February 28, 2013.

Indian users can buy a Windows 7 PC and get Windows 8 Pro for INR 699.00.
