Consumer Electronics Show 2012, the Finland based company Nokia revealed the LTE Windows phone, the next avatars of Nokia Lumia 800, the Nokia Lumia 900. The Lumia 900 is meant to offer the users what was lacking in the Lumia 800; better battery, bigger display, and the LTE support. This handset is AT&T bound in the US and is expected to gain some valuable ground in the US market.
The previous avatars of the 900 the Nokia Lumia 800 and Nokia Lumia 710 were launched in the month of October and are selling around the globe today. And now this Nokia Lumia 900 has come and is expected to hit the shelves in the month of March at the AT&T Network. The released has been confirmed in the Developer’s News Letter from Nokia. “The Nokia Lumia 900 phone runs Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5. It is the biggest and fastest smartphone yet. And it will become available exclusively through AT&T in March,” Nokia says in the letter.
March the 18th is the released date mentioned but we will have to see that the company brings the handset on the same day or not. But one thing is sure that there will be number of buyers as the phone has some of the most breath taking specs that a geek can dream of.
“With support from AT&T’s 4G LTE (Long-Term Evolution) network, the Nokia Lumia 900 smartphone will offer high-performance web browsing with Microsoft Internet Explorer Mobile, as well as both video and audio streaming,” the company says further.
“Other features include a long-lasting battery for all-day use; Nokia App Highlights to recommend key applications; two cameras, including an 8-megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens; a 4.3-inch AMOLED (active-matrix organic light-emitting diode) ClearBlack touch-screen display; and the Nokia Maps and Nokia Drive apps.”
And every word from the company is as true as god in heaven, this indeed is a virtuoso spectacle of modern day technology. Let us all wait for the month of March to come.
