Nokia Lumia 900 Wins Best Smartphone Award at CES 2012 Best Awards


The biggest annual gadgets gala has come to an end now, and the best gadgets flaunted at CES 2012 have been awarded. After knowing the winner for best smartphone at CES 2012, it seems as if this year both the finnish manufacturer and the software giant has make the most at the stage. Microsoft has made a blast this year at CES 2012, as it was the last time that we got to see the Microsoft CEO Keynote at CES 2012 stage.

Now, coming on the best smartphone award at CES 2012, friends none other than the Nokia Lumia 900, powered by Windows Phone 7 OS has managed to climb near that award. And the good news is that the Windows Phone, Nokia Lumia 900 has only won the award of being the best smartphone at CES 2012. Microsoft made a thriving hit by not only getting its Windows Phone 7 powered smartphone Nokia lumia 900 name in the list of awards, but many other Microsoft Windows-related products and gadgets got named for CES 2012 awards.

There was not one publication besides CNET to laud the device, Nokia Lumia 900. The Lumia 900 also won a Popular Mechanics editor’s choice award for CES and took Popular Science “Product of the Future” award, and is one of LAPTOP magazine’s “Best of CES” finalists. And don’t you think friends that the device has been awarded just because of the presence of the software giant’s name. Reportedly it is found that reviews and feedback from press and attendees has been positive as a whole

The device awards winning list doesn’t ends here, because the Nokia’s, Lumia 900 has earned many awards from multiple sources for actually being the best product at the event. As said above the various awards in which Lumia 900 has been listed are:

  1. CNet’s “Best of CES” smartphone.
  2. Popular Mechanics editor’s choice award for CES.
  3. Popular Science “Product of the Future”.
  4. LAPTOP magazine’s “Best of CES” finalists.

I wish hopefully these plaudits get decipher into actual sales in a few months, when the handset is set to be released on AT&T.
