Nokia will Unveil Lumia 900 and Plans for Tango Based Windows Phones at CES 2012


Some additional details have come to the fore about the Nokia Lumia 900 just a week or so after pictures of the said handset came up online. The details contain almost all the specs of the Nokia Flagship phone, Lumia 900.

The latest update that has been rolled out is that Nokia Lumia 900 would be the last Nokia’s Smartphone to sail on the Windows Phone 7.5 OS, as the next releases would be followed by the Tango update. It seems as the season of innovation has begun with the upcoming CES event, where Nokia Lumia 900 will be flaunted and soon after that in the Mobile World Congress (MWC), the Tango based Nokia Smartphones will be revealed.

The Windows Phone, code named as Nokia Ace will be sold as Nokia Lumia 900 all around the globe. if one is curious about the specs of the handset then the Lumia 900 will be sporting a dual core 1.4 GHz scorpion processor which will be seconded by a 512 MB RAM. The display of the Lumia 900 will be 4.3 inches. As far as the Windows Phone battery is concerned, the Nokia 900 will have a 1830 mAh battery. This handset is said to be coming with T-Mobile’s 1700 MHz 3G band, but the Lumia 900 will be sold under contract with AT&T. In the camera section it will sport an 8MP camera.

In the weight category the N0kia Lumia 900 will weigh around 160 grams that against its size is a very good thing. Like its predecessors Nokia Lumia 800 and Lumia 710, the Lumia 900 will be running the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango Operating System.  This handset is rumored to be hitting the counters in the month of March this year. But the first glimpse of the mobile will emerge at the Consumer Electronics Show in the United States of America.  At the CES the Lumia 900 will be accompanied with another Windows Phone from Nokia, Lumia 719. First is a high-end handset and the later a mid-range phone.

In the looks the Nokia Lumia 900 will be a little identical with the predecessor 800 but its sheer size will make it look different in the crowd. Plus the dual core processor will give it the wings to fly. Let’s see how the Lumia 900 is received at the Consumer Electronic Show, Las Vegas.
