Why to Register your Microsoft Hardware Product Online

Whenever you buy a new Microsoft product, it’s good to register it online on Microsoft Hardware website. It helps you to get timely updates and associate your product with your Live ID.

A Windows Live ID is essentially required to register your product purchase with Microsoft. Registration also let you receive the important updates which are specifically available for your products only. For e.g. you have a Microsoft Arc Mouse registered with your PC, then the Microsoft Updates will only shows you the updates necessary for Arc mouse instead of showing all the common updates.

Recently Microsoft released the Device Center App for Windows 8 which helps you to control and assign new functions to your Microsoft Product such as Keyboard and Mouse.
